 The Oaken Bucket

The Oaken Bucket is a practice in visualizing.  The object here is to make a vivid picture in your mind's eye.  Imagine it as clearly, and as fully as you possibly can.  You'll have to read over the images first, and then close your eyes, and imagine it as if it were really happening to you.

This process will remove stress from your life. Any stress from the past, any stress that might try to pop up in the future, will be gone, and gone forever...  The more often you sit down and create this mental image and run through the pictures, the faster and more powerful the effect will be when you use it later.


First relax and get comfortable in your chair.  Breath deeply, paying attention to your breath as it goes in, and out.  Take 5 or 6 deep breaths, and let your body sink loosely into the chair.

At this point, acknowledge that you are about to remove all the stress you have.  All the stress which has built up in you from the things in your life...from your business life... from your family life... from your daily life.

Are you ready?     Then let's begin....

Begin now by visualizing a large Oaken Bucket. 

You may notice that in the side of the bucket there is a large cork stopper with an easily gripped handle on it.  Right now, the stopper is securely fitted into the hole in the side of the bucket at the bottom.
 
Beside the bucket is a container filled with a warm orange liquid.  Pick up that container and fill the bucket with the warm liquid.  Now, mentally remove your shoes (and socks) and step into the bucket.  It is just the right size for your feet to fit comfortably.  Umm... how nice it feels to soak your feet.  The orange liquid is warm and soothing.  It spreads warmth and harmony in through your feet. 

Then it begins to rise, bringing with it this relaxed feeling. A sensation of calm rises up your legs, then on up into your stomach, warm and soothing.  It rises up into your chest... and into your heart- you feel the calming of the warmth and harmony, and you take a deep breath, relaxing very deeply. 

 
The orange liquid spills down into your arms, and hands, and fingers, then finally it rises up into your head, giving you a very calm, harmonious feeling.  You feel better now than you have ever felt, and every part of you, drifting in the soothing warmth, relaxes even more than before.  You feel that you are at peace with yourself, and with others around you in your life.....enjoy that feeling of peace and harmony.
 
The  orange liquid now begins to absorb into itself all stress, all negative thoughts, and all negative feelings from your mind and your body.  As it absorbs the stress and negativity, it changes colors, moving from orange, to brown, and then to black, as the rest of the stress and negativity is absorbed into the liquid. 

Feel the stress leaving you and combining with the orange liquid.   You can feel yourself relaxing, and getting lighter and lighter as the stress leaves every fiber of your being.

 
Now, the orange liquid begins to drain from your head.  It comes up out of your fingers, now out of your arms.  It is draining from your chest,...your heart.  As it drains away, you feel better and better.  
 
All of your stress, negative thoughts, and negative feelings have been absorbed by the once-orange liquid, and are now draining away.  The liquid continues to drain down through your body.  It drains out of your stomach, down through your legs, and out through your feet.  With each moment you are feeling calmer, lighter, and more relaxed.

You now step out of the bucket, and dry yourself with a small towel that you find provided for you. 

 
You are now ready for the last steps in ridding yourself of stress and negativity for the rest of your life. 

You have just removed all the stress of the past from your body and your mind, now you will pull the cork stopper from the bucket.  Reach down and give it a tug.  THERE.  it comes out... the now-black liquid is draining.  It is gushing from the bucket, and it goes down the drain, down, and down...it is gone forever.

 
From this moment forward, this oaken bucket is the only place that you can now store any stress.  So the final step is to use the Violet Transmuting Flame to destroy the stopper!  You control the flame, as it burn up the cork stopper that fits into the side of your oaken bucket.  See the flame as it burns and destroys the cork stopper.  There it goes... it's gone. 

Now, since THAT was the only stopper that will fit your particular bucket, the hole can never be stopped up again. -- Not for the rest of your life.

 
Since the hole in the bucket can never be stopped up again, you can never store up any stress or negative thoughts or negative feelings again.  If any stress does appear, it will instantly drain from your bucket and be gone, down the drain forever.  Likewise, any negative thoughts or feelings will instantly drain from the bucket and be gone forever.
 
You feel so good now since you know that you are free of stress and negativity for the rest of your life.  It brings peace and calm to you.  Your natural state is calm now.  You handle any situation calmly and confidently as it comes to you.
 
You can imagine how amazed and delighted your friends and co-workers are going to be, now that you are so calm and relaxed in the midst of chaos these days.  Whether it is at work, or at home, when others are running around in a panic to get things done, you do the tasks that are assigned to you quickly and efficiently, and always remain calm and in control. 

You are always in control.  You now see that because you are calm and in control, it seems to affect others in your home and workplace...and they are becoming more calm and more in control.

 
No matter what tasks are assigned to you, you complete them quickly and efficiently, you are able to do this almost effortlessly since stress is no longer a part of your life. You find you enjoy whatever tasks are given to you, and you are able to do them cheerfully.

This is the whole process. 

In order to make it stronger, you may want to imagine an additional scenario or two, with yourself in a situation that would ordinarily cause stress, but this time you see/feel the stress just draining away as soon as it hits your body.   

The more different scenarios you can "make up" for yourself, and run through, the more instantaneous the effect will be when you encounter a "real" stressful situation.


(Of course, you can change "stress" for "anger" or any other sentiment you wish to let go of.)
